Welcome! And thanks for visiting my page. Here’s a snippet about me. I’m a teacher, preacher, and avid outdoorsman. I try to begin every morning with a freshly brewed cup o’ Joe in one hand and my Bible in the other. We could all use a little caffeine and Jesus in our life to start our day!

I have a public school education (don’t be hatin’) but I decided early on in life that I wanted to teach kids to solve equations and play sports. So math and the round ball are my favorite past times!

I have a son who’s my mini me! We love going on adventures! In the spring and summer you can find us visiting the beach and ball parks. In the fall and winter we escape to the mountains and rugged outdoors. Hunting, fishing, sports, and movies are where some of our greatest memories have been made.

My responsibility as a man, and more specifically as a father, is to lead those around me in a way that honors my Lord Jesus Christ. The promise that I’ve made my son is that “I will lead you where I believe God is leading me.”

Knowing that I cannot do this life alone I have made it a priority to connect and build relationships with those who I believe will help hold me accountable and continue to pour themselves into my life to influence me in a positive way. I believe that’s done best in the context of God’s church. It has become a viable part of my life and livelihood.

God has also placed within me a passion and conviction to share His love with the world around me. My commitment to study and speak His Word has given me opportunities to travel and share the Gospel in many different contexts around the globe.
